Kava for us and fika for the Swedes – different names for similar rituals of enjoying a relaxed conversation over a cup of coffee or tea. All of you coffee (and tea) lovers are welcome to Hotel Kaštel Terrace at noon every day of the festival, where we’ll be discussing films while enjoying fika with the authors and programmers. They say fika is impossible to translate – one has to experience it.
On Saturday 30 July we are talking with the legendary director and this year’s laureate of our Maverick Award, given to free-spirited authors who push the limits in filmmaking – Goran Marković.
