In April 1999, one of the most successful alpinists in the world, Tomaž Humar, decided to face the southern slope of the Himalayan peak Dhaulagiri. While organising the expedition, he ignored the rules and chose members who were not alpinists, but were, in his opinion, key to the success of the expedition.
