Juozapas is a quiet boy who cultivates insects in an abandoned house. Under his thick knitted sweater, something sticks out from the middle of his chest and the school’s tough kids call him “balloon”. When a new girl, Rugilè, arrives in the town, she becomes Juozapas’ friend and the first one to discover his secret.
