Marina Vidal is a waitress and singer enjoying a harmonious relationship with Orlando. But when he ends up in the hospital and dies, Marina’s (trans)gender identity will become a problem in dealing with Orlando’s family. The film won the Oscar for best international film (2018) and several awards at Berlinale – the Silver Bear for screenplay and the Ecumenical Jury Special Mention.
