As the southerly winds bear down on the city of Split, the lives of the residents of a dilapidated four-story building begin to intertwine. A suspended professor, a paranoid old lady, a pious manipulative mother, a failed rapper, and an abusive ex collide in a dark comedy of misunderstandings, petty intrigues, and brewing chaos amidst which even the “heroes” become villains in the eyes of their neighbours. Through darkly humorous depictions of everyday situations, South Wind portrays the uniqueness of Split’s identity, offering up a great cast of local talent, including actors, screenwriters, artists, and crew behind the camera.
