Withdrawn 16-year-old Hana is in love with Balša, a local podcaster. As her family quarrels over the ‘fitting’ funeral for her father, she observes her mother’s powerlessness against the demands of the men around her. She finds temporary refuge at a lake – until she discovers Balša’s darker side. In this award-winning screenplay, confronted with jealousy and violence, Hana must decide whether to stay silent or speak out against oppression.
