After the disruption of a minute of silence in honour of a “fallen” comrade in Ukraine, the high choir – made up of Lenin statues across the world, whose singing can only be heard by dogs – kicks out a Lenin bust situated in an abandoned Soviet mining settlement in Svalbard. Gorana’s short Armadila has been awarded at Vienna Shorts and Motovun and was a candidate in the EFA short film category in 2021. MIR has been presented at Uppsala, Tampere and many other festivals.
