In rural Italy, a deep social divide persists between proponents and opponents of wolves. In a village burdened by the presence of this predator, shepherd Giorgio seeks the help of biologist Luce to protect his flock. Young researcher Daniel is dealing with unusual cases of cannibalism among wolves, while Mauro is investigating the reasons behind their killings. Ranger Jerry uses the “spy wolf” Ventura, while Francesca and Luca are working on the challenging task of capturing and sterilising hybrid wolves. Biologist and director Samer Angelone is responsible for directing, cinematography, editing, and producing the documentary Lupi Nostri, which, through the music of Franco Belle, depicts coexistence, fear, and the fine line between nature conservation and conflict with it.
