After his successful debut Eva Nova, shown in Motovun in 2016, Marko Škop is back with a family story dealing with the rise of xenophobia and nationalism in Eastern Europe. Milan (40) is a construction worker earning money for his family in Slovakia. While visiting them for Christmas, he finds out that his oldest son Adam became a member of a paramilitary group and is involved in harassment and murder of a fellow student. While facing the new situation in the family, Milan discovers the truth about his boy, himself and the community they live in.
