24.7. WEDNESDAY 15:30 CIRKUS FELLINI
First-person account of the formative years of legendary Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards, showcasing his journey from a post-war England boy to a rock ‘n’ roll icon. The film sets out to explore how both he and the 60s in England came about, bringing the post World War II period vividly back to life. Rare footage, interviews, and personal anecdotes paint an intimate portrait of Richards’ early life and musical influences. It is interspersed with family photographs, rich film footage of the time, and, of course, with music, including musical influences, music of the time, and fragments of The Stones’ songs. What shines through is Keith’s down-to-earthness and gentle but irreverent humour.
