In a not-so-distant future ravaged by climate change, a team of scientists analyse archival footage of farmers from the past to understand their connection to the soil. In this visually enchanting documentary-fictional hybrid, Gregor Božić pays tribute to the old growers from the Goriška region in western Slovenia, who considered fruit as something more than simply a commodity to be sold. It is also a dedication to film art. The film premiered in the Tiger Shorts section in Rotterdam, and won the FIPRESCI Award at Oberhausen.
