In this darkly comic satire on being an artist, writer Maksim Grahovac returns to Montenegro after ten years spent in Zagreb, to settle a family inheritance and visit his estranged brother Niko. His plan goes horribly wrong when he accidentally kills a man and tries to hide the body. While the village, along with the Minister of Culture, celebrates its acclaimed novelist, Maksim and Niko bury the crime under the terms of a divided inheritance.
