The CDFG Campus workshop is celebrating its tenth anniversary at a new, dreamy location in the enchanting Fužine. From 22 to 27 July 2025, new friendships, collaborations, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences await you in the lush shade of the Gorski Kotar region.
We invite film school students and those who are about to become one, as well as young filmmakers and film lovers, to apply for participation in the Croatian Film Directors’ Guild Campus program – a place for young filmmakers and students from around the world to meet and form connections.
This year’s Campus program will focus on the topic of AI, whose increasing presence in creative works as well as in all areas of life can no longer be avoided. However, we can learn how to best use the tools it offers us and thus dedicate ourselves more effectively to that original artistic expression in which we are irreplaceable. Through lectures, case studies, and a multi-day practical workshop, we will explore together what the future holds for us and how to make the best use of it.
In addition to the workshop program, every day we’ll watch films produced by film schools from all over the world. The screenings will be accompanied by a presentation of these schools by the students themselves, who will provide their future colleagues with all the necessary information and guidelines for enrollment. Traditionally, the program is enriched by the popular Debate club, where participants discuss films from the festival program.
