After years of mistreatment, residents of the Pavilion retirement home rise up against the indifferent system. The arm themselves, seize the building, take the staff hostage, and confront the authorities, turning their tragicomic resistance into a media and political spectacle. Unable to meet the rebels’ demands, the officials must reckon with the embittered pensioners who feel they have nothing left to lose.
