In this stylised black-and-white thriller, which premiered at the Berlinale, Captain Jorge Silva is forced to turn his flight academy into a torture facility for political prisoners during the Chilean coup d’état. Hoping the crisis will end, he is confronted by his past and moral principles with the arrival of his old rival, Colonel Jahn. As violence escalates, Silva realises that both obedience and defiance could equally destroy him.
