The latest animated adventure from Claude Barras, the director of My Life as a Courgette, tells the moving story of two children and a baby orangutan who embark on the fight to save the Borneo rainforest. After rescuing little Oshi, Kéria, a modern girl from the edge of the jungle, joins her cousin Selaï on a journey that takes them into the heart of the rainforest and the spiritual world of the nomadic Penan tribe. Faced with the threat of the destruction of their world, they decide to fight back. Savages opens up important environmental questions seen through the eyes of the young protagonists and encourages children and young people to think.
