A widowed father, Sándor (Szabolcs Hajdu), strives to rebuild a blended family with his partner Klára and her daughter, when an innocent game leads his son Dénes to cause a tragic accident involving his stepsister Sári. As the sole witness, Sándor faces a harrowing moral dilemma: expose the truth and risk sending his child to juvenile detention, or conceal it to protect him. In his directorial debut, Bálint Dániel Sós crafts a taut, emotionally charged moral drama set in grayscale Budapest. The film premiered in the Perspectives section at Berlin 2025, earning acclaim for its nuanced screenplay, powerful performances, and haunting visuals.
