But now Cinehill visitors can do just that \u2013 as <strong>Du\u0161an Vukoti\u0107\u2019s<\/strong> original 1962 Oscar has arrived at the festival thanks to a collaboration with <strong>Zagreb Film<\/strong>. The golden statuette quickly became one of the most popular guests of this year\u2019s edition, as numerous visitors stopped to observe it and be reminded of the animated short <strong><em>The Substitute<\/em><\/strong> that earned Vukoti\u0107 the historic award.<\/p>\n\n<p>The story of the Oscar was also an opportunity for audiences to remember the man who won it. The Montenegrin focus program (<strong>Mountain to Mountain<\/strong>) featured the documentary <strong><em>Vud, You Won!<\/em><\/strong> by director <strong>Senad \u0160ahmanovi\u0107<\/strong>, weaving together intimate recollections from Vukoti\u0107\u2019s wife, friends, and colleagues to tell the story of his remarkable journey \u2013 from global fame and great success to difficult times towards the end of his career.<br \/><br \/>The program dedicated to Du\u0161an Vukoti\u0107 opened with his Oscar-winning classic <em>The Substitute<\/em>, a film that left an indelible mark on the history of animation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Vukoti\u0107\u2019s Oscar will also be on display for visitors during the screenings of <a href=\"https:\/\/cinehill.eu\/en\/film\/visitors-from-the-arkana-galaxy\/\"><strong><em>Visitors from the Arcana Galaxy<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cinehill.eu\/en\/film\/the-crystal-planet\/\"><strong><em>The Crystal Planet<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is not every day that you can have your photograph taken with the world\u2019s most famous film award statuette.
