Twenty-two years later, Pop and Mare are back in action in the sequel to the classic, titled <strong><em>Dudes: Again!<\/em><\/strong> which will be screening at this year\u2019s <strong>Cinehill Motovun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dudes <\/em>from 2001 was a smash hit at the box offices with a story about Pop and Mare\u2019s crazy night in which the couple of musicians try to persuade Gojko, a former colleague from school, to publish their record. The only problem is that Gojko is now a tough dude who still remembers how the two used to make fun of him in school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ushering in a blast of fresh energy at the start of the new millennium, <em>Dudes<\/em> quickly became an audience favourite, owing no small part of its success to the soundtrack featuring the coolest acts on the music scene at the time. The urban comedy justified its tagline \u2018the first Serbian drum\u2019n\u2019bass\u2019 by showcasing a long list of acclaimed musicians such as Darkwood Dub and supergroup Neo\u010dekivana sila koja se iznenada pojavljuje i re\u0161ava stvar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the new instalment of Dudes, the years have flown by but Pop and Mare seem to be pretty much where we left them: with no girls and no money, and at odds with the world and the new music pervading the scene. But when Gojko steals a part of their old hit to offer it to the pop singer Mila Sila, the duo head out to face him and another unforgettable adventure ensues.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cast is made up of familiar faces <strong>Sergej Trifunovi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Boris Milivojevi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Nikola \u0110uri\u010dko<\/strong> and <strong>Jelisaveta Seka Sabli\u0107<\/strong>, along with rappers <strong>Ivan Ivanovi\u0107 Juice<\/strong> and <strong>Smoke Mardeljano<\/strong>. Apart from an original and entertaining story, <em>Dudes: Again!<\/em> again contains its trademark music created by acts the likes of Prti Bee Gee and Hornsman Coyote, Vizelj, Coby, Baby Motorola and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to the screening of <em>Dudes: Again!, <\/em>Motovun will throw a repeat screening of the first instalment of <em>Dudes<\/em> created 22 years ago. The film\u2019s Croatian premiere happened precisely at the 2001 Motovun FF, with director Radivoje Andri\u0107 and actor Sergej Trifunovi\u0107 in attendance.
