One is Telluride, the other is Motovun in Croatia.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were thrilled to read in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.screendaily.com\/agnieszka-holland\/1101445.bio\">interview<\/a> for  <em>Screen Daily<\/em> that Motovun Film Festival has a special place in the heart of the European Film Academy\u2019s president who was our guest of honor on Film Hill in 2017.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29015\" style=\"width: 800px;\" src=\"https:\/\/motovunfilmfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/M2017gnieszka_Holland.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, Motovun Film Festival will put up its big screens on the hill at its regular time \u2013 the last week of July. After the unfavorable pandemic-related developments changed the festival concept last summer (with only one screening taking place in Motovun and the remaining ones in 27 Croatian towns and cities), this year it\u2019s business as usual again: five days and nights in the streets and squares of the medieval town commanding a great vista of the Mirna Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its 23<sup>rd<\/sup> edition, Motovun Film festival offers a variety of the best films of the season, coming from all over the world. They were selected by our programmers <strong>Milena Zajovi\u0107<\/strong> and <strong>Jurica Pavi\u010di\u0107<\/strong>. The program will be announced on 1 July, when advance ticket sale will also begin.<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" class=\"wp-image-29017\" style=\"width: 800px;\" src=\"https:\/\/motovunfilmfestival.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2013trg03.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cinehill.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2013trg03.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/cinehill.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2013trg03-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cinehill.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/2013trg03-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the eight time, the festival will have its preview screenings in neighboring town of Buzet, with four films from the festival program and our children and youth film festival known as Buzz@teen (22-25 July). Simultaneously with the Motovun screenings, selected films from the festival program will be shown in Zagreb (Tu\u0161kanac Open-Air Theater), Split (Ba\u010dvice Open-Air Theater) and Dubrovnik (Jadran Theater).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After Motovun, the festival goes on tour in order to show some films from its program in as many Istrian and Croatian places as possible.
