Summer in Corsica. In a small village nestled between mountains, waterfalls and lush vegetation, life is fittingly slow. Children are running around, teenagers are flirting and the elderly are sitting in the local tavern and commenting on the life around them. The locals who never left are welcoming those coming home to spend summer with their families and friends. But August heat strains nerves and exposes old and new grudges. Sometimes it takes but a little spark to start a fire. This meditative film by Corsican stage director, actor and author Pascal Tagnati outlines in an entertaining way the life in a small village where tradition and community matter the most and personal differences are soon forgotten. Pascal Tagnati (1982) <\/strong>is an actor, author and director.
