Adam (Dawid Ogrodnik), who lives and works abroad, visits\r\nhis family home in the Polish provinces on Christmas Eve.\r\nAt first, he keeps the real reason for his visit to himself,\r\nbut it isn\u2019t long before he starts letting one relative after\r\nanother in on his plans. His father (Arkadiusz Jakubik), his\r\nbrother (Tomasz Zi\u0119tek), who he\u2019s fallen out with, his sister\r\n(Maria D\u0119bska) and her husband (Tomasz Schuchardt) all\r\nhave a significant role to play in his scheme. Things get even\r\nmore complicated when he announces that he\u2019s going to\r\nbe a father. At that point, in line with time-honoured Polish\r\ntradition, alcohol appears on the table.
