While working in a lab where animals are used for radical medical experiments, Ruth begins to wonder if she, too, is playing God and question her own religion. Her life starts derailing when her ex-boyfriend, who was accused of murder, suddenly reappears. Is it really him, or a ghost? How is a role-model family woman going to deal with this situation?
