Kava for us and fika for the Swedes – different names for similar rituals of enjoying a relaxed conversation over a cup of coffee or tea. All of you coffee (and tea) lovers are welcome to Hotel Kaštel Terrace at noon every day of the festival, where we’ll be discussing films while enjoying fika with the authors and programmers. They say fika is impossible to translate – one has to experience it.
On Thursday 28 July, Ranko Mitić Mito, a doyen of Croatian cinema and the laureate of our 50 Years Award will share his half-a-century long experience from film sets.
