Initially convinced that the machine could not reach his level of creativity, he gradually realises that artificial intelligence surpasses him in empathy and emotional depth. Faced with his own pride and fear of obsolescence, he agrees to write a film together with the AI system. The script for the meta-film The Last Screenwriter is signed by ChatGPT 4.0. The first prompt that the director gave to ChatGPT was: “Write a plot for a feature film in which a screenwriter realises that he is inferior to artificial intelligence.” Everything that followed – the entire plot, all the characters, scenes, actions, twists, and dialogues – was entirely generated by ChatGPT. Luisi did not change any scenes, actions, or words, nor did he input any of his own ideas. Not a single one. The result is an astonishingly convincing scenario.
