After the parents’ divorce, two families of different financial and social status emerge. The older son Zoran lives with his father, while the younger Đuro lives with his mother. Every Sunday, Zoran goes to lunch with his mother’s new family, while Đuro goes to his father’s new family. By simultaneously following their family lives, which are almost oppositional in their life attitudes, Golik skillfully creates a layered image of a kind of duality in family life through Đuro’s perspective, incorporating comedic elements. One of the most popular films by Krešo Golik won the Golden Arena for Best Actress (Mia Oremović) and the Golden Arena for Cinematography (Ivica Rajković) at the Pula Film Festival in 1968.
